We encourage you to read the privacy policies of those other sites to learn how they collect and use information about you.

What information does Car City collect and how is the information used?
While visiting our web sites, we may ask that you provide personal information (name, email address, postal address, etc.). For example, we may request certain personal information when you set up an account online, purchase products, participate in a sweepstakes, promotion or survey, contact Car City with a question or concern, apply for employment with Car City, or participate in other activities. If you are placing an order on Car City's web site, you may be required to provide billing or shipping information (credit card number, shipping address, etc.). When submitting personal information on an online form, we will identify which fields are required in order to fulfill your request. Additionally, our web servers automatically collect click-stream information such as the address or URL of the web site that you came from before visiting our site, which pages you visit on our site, which browser you used to view our site and any search terms you may have entered in a search engine to find our site.

Does Car City use cookies or other technologies to collect information?
Certain portions of our web site utilize cookies. Cookies are small data files that a web site may send to your browser and which may then be stored on your hard drive. Some of our web sites use cookies to simulate a continuous connection - cookies let us "remember" information about your preferences and session, and allow you to move within areas of our web sites without reintroducing yourself. No personally identifiable information is stored in these cookies.

Our web sites may also use other technologies to track which pages visitors view on our web sites. This non-identifiable click-stream data helps us understand how visitors use our web sites.

Does Car City share the information I've provided?
Car City may need to share personal information with third parties in certain circumstances. For example, we may release personal information to third parties to perform services on our behalf such as: sending marketing communications for Car City, conducting research or surveys, or sending regular mail or email on behalf of Car City.

Any information you provide to us may be combined or shared between current or future Car City entities and subsidiaries.

From time to time, we may be required to provide personal information in response to a valid court order, subpoena, government investigation, or as otherwise required by law. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be unlawful. We may release certain personal information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of others and ourselves. We may also release personal information in the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event.

How does Car City secure my personal information?
We have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, unauthorized access and alteration of the information under our control.

Because credit card security is a high priority, we have taken steps to ensure that payment information is processed confidentially, accurately and securely. Car City's web site uses encryption technology, such as SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), to protect your credit card information during processing. SSL encrypts ordering information such as your name, address, and credit card number.

Although we cannot guarantee against any loss, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, alteration or destruction of data, we take reasonable precautions to prevent such unfortunate occurrences. Car City cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us by email and you do so at your own risk.

Will this privacy policy change?
Because our web sites and businesses will continue to implement new technologies and improve the services and features we provide, this Privacy Policy is subject to change. If there are changes or additions to this Privacy Policy, we will post those changes here or in other formats we deem acceptable, so that you will always know what information we collect and how we use it. If we change our information practices or this Privacy Policy in such a way that your personal information may be used or shared in a different manner, we will give you the opportunity to opt-out of having your information used or shared in that new manner.

What is "Dealer Conveyance"?
A "Dealer Conveyance" fee is a processing / preparation / service fee charged by most dealers to help pay for administrative, paperwork, document, and other various costs.

The Fine Print
All advertised prices exclude any finance fees our lenders may charge, any dealer document charges, any government fees and taxes, and any registration/ emissions testing and/ or Department of Motor Vehicle charges.

All vehicles are subject to prior sale. Please contact us to confirm vehicles availability.

While every reasonable effort is made to ensure the accuracy of these data, we are not responsible for any errors or omissions contained on these pages. Please verify any information in question with a dealership sales representative.

Not responsible for any typographical errors or misprints.

Why do you want to know who referred me?
We ask this question on all of our 'contact forms' because we spend a large amount of money each month on different sources of advertising.

If were are able to better determine which forms of advertising work best we can eliminate areas that don't work well, which will save us money which we in turn pass on to our valued customers.

How much do I need down?
This is the number one question that we receive, unfortunately there is no set answer to this question. Down payment requirements are based upon many factors, the number one being your credit.

A person with fair to good credit, (600+ credit score, previous vehicle financing/ leasing, no repossessions, and a credit history of more than 3 years) can qualify for $0.00 down payments, while a person with bad credit or no credit will have to have a down payment of 20% of the vehicles book value, (or $1,500 whichever is higher), regardless of the vehicles asking price.

What A.P.R. will I get?
The interest rate that you will have varies, based upon several factors:
Your previous credit history
The amount of money you intend on borrowing
The year of the vehicle you want to purchase
The length of the loan, (in months)
The state the you live in

The minimum rate our lenders currently offer on a used vehicle purchase in both Connecticut and New York is 5.0%, and the maximum rate allowed by state law is 19.0%. For comparison purposes, use several different rates.
