Continuously variable transmission
A continuously variable transmission (CVT) is a transmission which can change steplessly through an infinite number of effective gear ratios between maximum and minimum values. This contrasts with other mechanical transmissions that only allow a few different distinct gear ratios to be selected. The flexibility of a CVT allows the driving shaft to maintain a constant angular velocity over a range of output velocities. This can provide better fuel economy than other transmissions by enabling the engine to run at its most efficient revolutions per minute (RPM) for a range of vehicle speeds.

Why is financing unavailable on this vehicle?
Our lenders do not finance vehicles older than 1999, therefore we are not able to offer financing on this $vehicle?.

If you are interested in financing this vehicle, you would need to secure your own individual loan, which is the same as cash to us.

What is a "CVC Number"?
The CVC number is a three-digit number printed on the back of all VISA, Eurocard, MasterCards and Diners cards, and a four-digit number printed on the front right side of American Express cards.

Providing the CCV number helps to verify that you are the authorized user of this card and increases the security of your online purchase.

Why do you need my social security number?
In order for use to fully qualify you for a loan, or lenders ask for your social security number to check your previous credit history.

If you are unwilling to submit your social security number over the internet you can request a call from one of our staff, who will take your information via the telephone, or you can stop down to our dealership and fill out an application in person.

What will you do with my email address?
City of Danbury respects all of our (potential) customer's privacy, because of that we will never sell, trade, or disclose email addresses, or private/ sensitive information submitted on our site.
Why do you need my previous housing information?
Our lenders require a minimum of 2 years
What does "Gross Weekly Income" mean?
Gross weekly income is the amount of money a person makes before taxes, health care expenses and other amenities are taken out.

Do not include additional sources of income such as child support, alimony, unemployment, or any lawsuit settlement money.

Why do you need to know which type of bank
accounts I have?
Some of our lenders require automatic withdrawals for monthly/ weekly car payments directly from a bank account; therefore we ask this question to determine what lenders we are able to submit your application to for approval.
How much do I need down?
This is the number one question that we receive, unfortunately there is no set answer to this question. Down payment requirements are based upon many factors, the number one being your credit.

A person with fair to good credit, (600+ credit score, previous vehicle financing/ leasing, no repossessions, and a credit history of more than 3 years) can qualify for $0.00 down payments, while a person with bad credit or no credit will have to have a down payment of 20% of the vehicles book value, (or $1,500 whichever is higher), regardless of the vehicles asking price.

Simply enter the amount of money that you are able to use towards a down payment.

Estimated monthly payment
Select the maximum amount of money that you would comfortably be able to pay each month towards a car payment.

(Be sure not to forget the additional costs involved in financing such as auto insurance, and unexpected repairs.)

How do I determine my trade-in's condition?
"Excellent" condition means that the vehicle looks new, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning. The vehicle has never had any paint or body work and is free of rust. The vehicle has a clean title history and will pass a smog and safety inspection. The engine compartment is clean, with no fluid leaks and is free of any wear or visible defects. The vehicle also has complete and verifiable service records. (Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category.)

"Good" condition means that the vehicle is free of any major defects. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems. There should be little or no rust on this vehicle. The tires match and have substantial tread wear left. A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail. Most consumer owned vehicles fall into this category.

"Fair" condition means that the vehicle has some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. The tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage.

"Poor" condition means that the vehicle has severe mechanical and/or cosmetic defects and is in poor running condition. The vehicle may have problems that cannot be readily fixed such as a damaged frame or a rusted-through body. A vehicle with a branded title (salvage, flood, etc.) or unsubstantiated mileage is considered "poor." A vehicle in poor condition may require an independent appraisal to determine its value. Kelley Blue Book does not attempt to report a value on a "poor" vehicle because the value of cars in this category varies greatly.

PLEASE BE HONSET WHEN APPRAISING YOUR CAR, SO THAT WE ARE ABLE TO BETTER PROCESS YOUR EZ FINANCING APPLICATION.

ALL TRADE-INS ARE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION AND/OR A TEST DRIVE BY OUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT BEFORE A FINAL TRADE IN VALUE IS OFFERED.

How do I determine my trade-in's value?
Simply enter the realistic "fair market" amount of money that you feel your trade is worth.

Our trade-in values are based upon several factors, such as auction reports and N.A.D.A. and Kelly Blue Book values.
